7 What Ifs

I've been tagged by Melissa. Here it goes... I'll warn you now, I don't get out much so you might find this rather boring information about me.

What if I could meet someone in the art world to chat with?

Well, all I did in Humanities was study and take great notes so I could make an "A". Unfortunately, I didn't retain much information so I'm going to steal this idea from a few other bloggers I read. I'm going to choose someone from the music world. Right now, my favorite artists/cds are Chris Tomlin and Mandissa.

What if I could have one wish granted for the benefit of all mankind?

I would want everyone, especially family, to remove materialism from their lives and realize they must have a relationship with Jesus Christ. They must realize their need for Him and ask Him as their Saviour and Lord of their life. I would wish everyone would realize just recognizing there is a God is not enough.

What if I could travel anywhere in the world?

Please don't get frustrated with me. I couldn't narrow this down to just one so here's my list in no specific order: NYC, Washington DC (I've been there but it was a rushed trip), Canada, the South (tour old plantation homes and Civil War sights), Texas to meet Caroline and Melissa, and AR to meet Kelly, her mom, and several more bloggers, and Europe

What if I could live in a period other than the present, for 24 hours?

Either the 1800s or the early 1900s. Thank goodness it would only be for 24 hours. I don't think I could handle the hard physical labor they had to endure. I do love to watch movies depicting stories in this time period and I love to read books set in this time.

What if I could make over three areas of my body?

(1) My right leg. I have lymphedema and it is larger than my left leg all the time. However, I am thankful God has given me two legs to walk and stand on.

I hope this picture didn't gross you out.

(2) The dark circles under my eyes. I have to use a lot of concealer. Someone told me I inherited it from my Poppy's side of the family.

(3) The "extra" skin that has seemed to appear around my waist and buttocks!! Some of it looks like cottage cheese!! :)

What if I could become an animal for 24 hours?

I would be Lilly Belle. She gets to eat anything she wants and still maintains her girlish figure. Plus she likes everyone and is friendly no matter what they may say or do.
What if I could bring someone back to life for 24 hours?

I will answer this one very selfishly. Although I would hate for him to be back in the pain and evil of a life on earth, I really long for my Poppy who is in heaven now. I would sit with him in his recliner up until 2 weeks before he passed away. This week, my heart has ached to sit with him again and to have him talk to me. He would soothe my heart now.

I would also want to bring back Clyde Haskins, Clyde Moore, and Cecil Moore. These are Bryan's grandparents I never met. They passed away before Bryan and I started dating. I would love to hear their voices and know their personalities for myself.

I apologize for the hodge podge of information. But these are my answers.

I will be out of the blog world for a few days. We are going down to Ada to visit Bryan's parents.

Have a great weekend everyone!

I loved reading this! It was not boring at all! You need to add LA to your places to visit too though. :) Ha!
I hope you have a great weekend and a great visit with family. :)

I liked your answers! I, too, love the books you pictured...Francine Rivers is wonderful and I'm reading the Love Comes Softly book right now. I've seen the movies but want to read the books.

It WAS such a simple time of God, family, friends and work. There wasn't the pressure to wear the right thing, drive the right car, put your kid in the right school, etc. I'm like you though, I couldn't be there too long...I'm definitely a girl of the 21st century!!!
