I'm hoping I can catch up on blogging this week. We had a lot of visitors at our house last week. We felt blessed everyone cared so much to take time out to come by. My cousin James from Lewisville, Texas drove up on Thursday evening. He is such a wonderful and thoughtful man. On his way up, he stopped in Purcell and brought us Joe's Famous Pizza (Taco Pizza and then a Pepperoni/Sausage Pizza). Sorry I didn't get a picture but we were to hungry to wait!! It was some of the first real good food I had that week!
I think I already mentioned James drove me around on Friday and it was great to get some fresh air and sunshine.
On Saturday morning, Bryan and James went to the gun range to shoot. It was another pretty day. Here's Bryan and James with some of Bryan's gear.
James left to go back to Texas on Saturday but not before we ate at one of his favorite restaurants in Norman....Tarahumara's. James likes to keep two traditions when he comes up. Get some frozen custard at Rusty's Frozen Custard and eat at Tarahumara's.
In trying to keep up with all my blogging friends, I took a picture of our guacamole. :)
James & I outside the restaurant. It was really windy. Please don't judge me by the crazy hair. Bryan tried twice to get a good shot. I mainly wanted you to see James.
James is such a kind & sweet cousin. He and I talked and talked while he was here. He is so patient and thoughtful and very unselfish. We discussed how we fought and fought when we were kids and just did not get a long. It is amazing how you change as adults. Bryan and I look forward to each time we get to see James or as I sometimes call him "Jamesey."
Last night (Tuesday) I was able to visit Jennifer Pritchard. I was her supervisor when I worked for Midland Mortgage. I had not seen her since I left in October. I have missed her a ton (I haven't missed working at Midland. I've just missed seeing the great people I worked with). It was great to see her. Jennifer has Emma who just turned 1 year old November 2nd and she is expecting their second child, a boy, in April. Emma was just absolutely adorable. I had not seen Emma in a very long time but she warmed right up to me and let me hold her and we looked through a book together. She has beautiful big blue eyes and blond hair.

Julie, how blessed you are to have such a caring cousin!
Thanks for commenting on my blog and anytime you and Bryan want to get away, you would be welcomed to sit on our front porch all you want! We even have two guestrooms upstairs ready anytime! We are near the White River also!
Still praying for you!
Yummm...I love guacamole!!! I got the invitation yesterday. I am not sure when you sent it...but I got it. My change of address is kinda awkward. I have a mail box next to my front door, but since I am not elderly and handicapped, I have to use the community cluster boxes...yuck. It is down the street a ways. Oh well.
Hope you have a great day! Love ya!
Julie your cousin is so nice! I am so glad that he was so helpful! I LOVE YOUR NEW BACKGROUND AND COLORS!!!! IT LOOKS BEAUTIFUL

The guacamole looks good! I'm so happy to see you smiling in some of the photos. It looks like you have wonderful family and friends.
Pizza sounds so good right now!! I wanted to leave you this saying from Week Three of Stepping Up. You may have already done it, but it really hit me hard and I thought you might like it to remember: "Everything we believe to be the death of us is instead a hand-engraved invitation to a new beginning." I have been praying for yall! Looks like your are feeling much better! You look great :)
