Party Prep

On March 24th my Granny will be turning 80!! For a couple of months now, my family and I have been planning a surprise 80th party for her. I can blog this because Granny does not have a computer and she doesn't know what a blog is. The big celebration is Saturday March 22nd.

I've tried emailing my cousin Jared a picture of the plate and napkins so he can work on the floral arrangement for Granny. Jared is very talented in this area. For some reason though, the email will not go through. So, these pictures on my blog are my only way to get the pictures to Jared quickly. The trim is a suttle yet bright lime green (I guess I'm trying to say it is not "get your sunglasses, fluorescent green") and the flowers are orange, yellow, white, and fuchsia.

You can bet when the big day gets here, I will have lots of pictures and a long post. I'm so very excited for Granny. There will be family friends and people I have not seen in years.

Your grandmother will be so happy.
My grandma is 92. Speaking of her, I need to give her a call.
Enjoy!

Julie--I stopped by to visit your blog today. Glad to know of your granny's party coming up. I think I might have met her at a ladies tea. The party goods are really cheerful and bright.

Julie, Your Granny is blessed to have you as a sweet granddaughter to give her a party! Seeing the plates and napkins, it will be a bright and happy occasion!

Julie, Thank you for the sweet prayer for Kelly on her blog this morning. You know how she feels and you are so sweet to offer a prayer up to the Lord for her comfort. My heart loves you for it! Bless you!
