I bet you're thinking "Yippee, not another post from vacation!!"
I had a wonderful night last night. My friend Erin (pictured in the pink paisley skirt) invited several ladies over to her new house for a girls night out. Her home is so beautiful!! You would love her kitchen. Sorry, I didn't even think to take pictures. She has such a nice husband and 3 wonderful small boys. They are so sweet and welcoming. It was such fun. I met two new ladies from our church and saw some others I had not seen in a while. It was great to sit back, relax, and catch up on every one's lives. We discussed babies, having babies, feeding babies, and so much more. I'm privileged to be included. These discussions allow me to learn a lot while I'm in the waiting stage.
We discussed what we might do each month when we get together. Suggestions, were Bridge, Bunco, Cranium, and other games. We also discussed food or no food. I say FOOD!!!
What do you and your girlfriends do when you get together?

Ok...don't have a group of girlfriends, but my friends and I love "Farkel." It is quite an addictive game, but loads of fun. We all can't wait until each time we have game night. It is a dice game. The goal is to get to 10,000 points. It is kinda like a mix between yahtzee and bunco. Take a look at Farkel.com to see more.
How've you been...other than vaca? Miss you guys!
EAT!!! You gotta have food! At GNO, calories never count!!
I love the game Cranium!! We played it when we went on vacation to the ocean. We had a blast! Oh and I also say FOOD!!!
My girlfriends and I eat!! Hee hee. We also drink a lot of coffee and chit chat. I'm glad you got to spend time with your girlfriends. Girlfriends are the best! But, seriously, keep the vacation pictures coming! They're great.
OH MY! I could go on and on about the goodness of having a GALZ NIGHT once a month...once a week ;)! Lauren & Meagan mean everything to me and I adore the time we spend together. Here are just a few suggestions:
1) Food - A MUST
2) Bunco is a blast ;)
3) Movie night is GREAT
4) PJs, junk food, and good conversation can't be beat
5) Pedicures are a great time to relax and catch up
Yay! I am so excited for you!
I love girls nights!! I say there HAS to be food!! That's a non-negotiable. Hahaha And I love movie nights, bunco, and just hanging out and talking! Book clubs are fun, too! That will be something to look forward to each month for sure!
Sounds like so much fun!!! I still haven't emailed you info about PEP (pray, eat, play). I think I told you I would do that like around FEB. I'm so sorry!!! Let me know if you are still interested in the details. :)
Ooh, I love girls nights! We play cards, eat and just talk. You know you can talk about nothing for hours as long as you are with friends :)
Fun! From what I can see in the picture, I definitely think I would LOVE her house. My girlfriends and I meet once a month at a restaurant. It's always a great time.
