I had to ran several errands yesterday evening and this was sitting on my kitchen table when I came home after 8:00 last night. It is a new perennial for my front flower bed!!! I loved this from Bryan because I knew he put some thought into it and he took time out of his evening to buy me a card and write a message inside. He also stopped and picked up Popeyes Chicken! Red beans and rice, yum yum!!!! I think Popeyes makes the best, and I mean the best, red beans and rice. I can have a gloomy day and he always lifts me up! He is so patient with me.

I stayed up late folding laundry and Bryan was studying for an exam. It started lightening around midnight and the weather man said there was a hail cell (??? my weather terminology is not the greatest) coming our direction. We got some good size hail last night and needless to say after the excitement of moving Bryan's truck halfway into the garage (so he wouldn't loose a window), we didn't go to bed until after 1:00!!!

I was too scared to go outside and look at our hail last night and out power was out so I couldn't turn on any outside lights but it sounded that big.
What a sweet husband Bryan is!!!

That was such a sweet thing for your husband to do. What a sweetheart!
Yes, the weather was crazy last night. We didn't get the hail in my area, but MWC is just 25 miles west of us and it was coming our way. I went to bed at 10:30 and got back up at 12:30 because the wind was blowing so loud. I got back up and listened to Gary to see what was going on.
We just got a Popeye's Chicken here and I haven't eaten there yet. I'll have to try it soon.
Have a good weekend.
Valerie

Hi Julie...I like your flowers!

I don't think I will be going up on Mother's day. But I believe I will be going up for Katie's birthday. And, James and I are wanting to come up for a visit sometime soon too. How was your weekend?
