Camera Shopping !!??!!

If you've read my previous post, you will see I have serious camera issues!! I may be shopping for a new camera. I'm not finding much help with repair shops I've called today. I tend to get overwhelmed when I have to comparison shop and I'm not even sure what all I want.

What kind of camera do you have?

What do you like about it?

What do you dislike about it?

I just received a wonderful camera for my 30th (yes, 30th) bday. It is a Nikon D60 and it is MAJAH fabulous! It is a high-tech camera that is fairly simple to use....I'm already wanting another lens! HA! It was a MAJAH investment and we saved for it for a few months, but oh-how-it-is-worth-it. Seriously. I *heart* my Nikon:)

I have a Panasonic Lumix and I love it. It takes great pictures and it super easy to use.
Check newegg.com They usually have great deals on there and you can read reviews on lots of different cameras!
Good Luck!

Oh, girlfriend, I am the wrong person to ask. I am TERRIBLE about taking pictures, and that's partly because my camera is from the dark ages. When you find a good one, let me know. I'm overdue for an upgrade!

Oh, I absolutely LOVE my camera! I was very reluctant to give up my old Nikon film camera, (mainly because of the fast shutter speed) but I finally did a couple of years ago and it was the best thing I ever did! I have a Nikon D50 which I believe has since been replaced with the camera that Lindsey mentioned. I have several lenses for it and it is awesome! It is an SLR --which means that it has the fast shutter speed that I was accustomed to. It is capable of doing anything you would probably ever want to do with your camera while still being very "user-friendly". Good luck in your search.

I have a Kodak Z712 and it is AWESOME! It takes great pictures and also does videos, too. The video I took of the girl riding her bike is off my camera. I love it...and we bought it on Ebay. My hubby is an ebay KING!
