Relax and Reunite and Rekindle

Bryan has finished his semester at OU!! Hallelujah!!! He has submitted his final exam and final group project and now has to wait on his team members. But, no more long nights for him with school until January 20th and that my friends will be his last semester and he will graduate in May with his Masters in Civil Engineering! Yippee!! What will life be like without school and tuition checks!!

Bryan and I have been needing to get away; just the two of us. We love our friends and our family but we have really been desiring some time by ourselves to evaluate our year, our hearts desire, our course of action, and our thoughts over many things in our life and this upcoming year. During his school semester, we rarely talk serious because work and school is so distracting.

For my Christmas, my boss gave Bryan and I a weekend at their time share in Branson!! We are staying at the Wyndham Branson. We are leaving town this afternoon and heading to Tulsa to see Glenn Beck's: The Christmas Sweater Tour.
Glenn wrote a fictional novel and then it was put into a play/show/tour format. I've read the book and it should be a good evening.

After the show we are driving up to Branson and staying there until Monday morning. The items on our agenda: (1) To truly relax and rest (2) Reunite with each other (3) Talk about our next year (4) View the lights at Silver Dollar City (we have always wanted to do this every year but never have)

And we might squeeze in some time here:

and

Branson Landing to do some more shopping

We do not want fast pace or craziness or going going going. Our true goal is to enjoy one another's company and focus whole heartily on the other.

Have a wonderful weekend! It's always good to take time to reconnect with one another. We will be doing the same on Saturday. A friend of mine is keeping Baby D for us so we can have a full day together to celebrate our anniversary.

Oh, yes, what a relief! You need some time to get away and just be a couple without having to do all the things we do in life.

I hope you have a great time!
